  • Keraton Ratu Boko (Queen Boko Palace) is in a large area. It is clean and has very beautiful view. Very recommended for relaxing while learning the history of Ratu Boko and its related history to other kingdoms. Near the ticketing office, there are a restaurant offering high class food and beverages, coffee and merchandise shop. I suggest you to bring umbrella when visiting Ratu Boko because it has very few and far places to protect you from sudden rain. The vast area will make you healthy since you have to walk from one spot to another spot in a quite far distance. But, it is fine. You will be satisfied with the panorama. The toilet is clean. And in the middle of this area, you can find mini local canteen to buy some food and beverages. Love this so much!!! Enjoy Ratu Boko Palace. Enjoy Yogyakarta!
  • A beautiful megalitic site. Located at high plateau giving superb view. Exercise caution if you explore the Goa (meditation cave) area which is located at a secluded corner away from main area. I saw a big cobra snake when I was there. Best to stay on the stone pathway and not venture near bushes. Entry ticket price is rather high.
  • I love this place very much. This is the second time I visit this place. The weather is good, the place is so wide, there are many temples you have to take a picture. You can also learn about the history of Ratu Boko here. To be honest, I don't like the cleanliness of the toilet. But, I don't see any litter inside the temples. The ticket price in the weekend is Rp 40,000.
  • One of the major Buddha-Hindu temples in central Java (together with Borobudur and Prambanan). However much of this temple is unkown compared to other temples. Only the foundations of many of the buildings in the complex are left. Located up a hill, the temple complex gives you a vista of the surrounding low land paddy fields. Come in late afternoon for a beautiful sunset. The open fields of the complex also gives us a cool breeze.
  • This place is raising in popularity. But still not as popular as prambanan or borobudur temple This temple is so beautiful and wide.. Whats unique is there are a lot of pond with different size and shape If you are lucky, you can find some local citizen's sheep looking for some grass which make this place even more beautiful
