  • The better time to visit here is in the afternon before sunset. You can take your silhouette photos perfectly. I've made some sunset timelapse videos and I like them all. That's so beautiful.
  • Besides Prambanan Temple, this is also a great palace remnant worth to visit. This place is like a hidden kingdom. The green field and relaxing atmosphere will welcome you there. If you are lucky, in the sunny day, no cloudy sky, you will witness fantastic sunset with the palace gate as the background resulting a beautiful silhouette picture. The access is easy and the road is in good condition but it's hilly, so be careful. You must visit this place when you are in Yogyakarta.
  • Great place for picnic in the afternoon. The walk definitely worth it. Last time I visit here, the EO arrange dinner in the complex. Outdoor dinner under the stars after watching sunset is really awesome experience.
  • Beautiful ancient ruins of Mataram Kingdom. Very nice atmosphere. Best if you visit this ruins when the sunset come.
  • Beautiful historic scenery meets good managements.... All the security officers are also very polite and helpful
