The main doors, behind several buildings, cellars (FRO) and beautiful pools. Finally, you can access a view impressive Prambanan and the Merapi (in good weather).show original
A nice quiet place to view the sunset.. You may need to walk for awhile to view the whole area.. I found a nice spot to relax and view the evening settling in.

Believed to be former Mataram kingdom palace. Very beautiful historical "garden". Best place for photography

Here is more like a garden rather than historical place. Big area here you can enjoy the view of Jogjakarta city from the top. If you come here after 3:30pm, you are fixed to "enjoy" their sunset ticket. Although the restaurant seems nice, but you have no choice to pay less for without sunset.

Istana means Palace, not Temple. I wonder if this place was related to prophet Solomon as some people believe that Boko is referred to Bilqis in Solomon's story.
