Browse the life's work of one of the most renowned Indonesian painters at Affandi Museum. As you approach the site, note the museum's exterior: the building was designed and constructed by Affandi himself, with the roof resembling a banana leaf. Enter to view a large collection of 250 colorful, expressive paintings. Admission includes a guide and screening of a documentary that will help you understand the close bond between Affandi's personal life and his art. Later, enjoy some food or drink at the onsite cafe and shop for souvenirs at the gift shop. Our Sewon trip website makes visiting Affandi Museum and other Sewon attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

Great for lovers of the arts, especially painting. For collectors are also strongly encouraged to come to this place because of the many paintings that were also sold in the museumView original -

前回に続き、今回も行ったら休みでした。行く前には必ず休みを確認して行きましょう。外観も変わってて、次回こそ中に入りたいと思いました。空港に行く道にあるので最終日でも良さそうです。 more »
Continuation, we were off. Sure Let's go off before you go. Have changed appearance and wanted us out next time. Because on the way to the airport is so good in the last day.View original

Love it 👍

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I am a photographer myself and this place just so inspiring looking at another artists life, his works and his life pace. This is an art museum. There are paintings that considerably naked or exposing whole female body (Afansi's wife). Parental guidance is advised. The door guy knows what, so you shouldn't worry about asking everything you have in mind to him about the place.

A gem designed and built by Affandi, an Indonesian surrealist painter - often dubbed as Indonesia's Van Gogh. His body of work spans between paintings and sculptures. Consists of 4 major galleries and a cafeteria. He himself and his first wife is buried in he complex, beside the entrance of the first building. The ticket is relatively cheap, and cameras are allowed. The complex is very noticeable from Laksda Adisucipto street.

The ticket is only Rp 25k for domestic visitors (free soft drink after the end of the tour), Rp 10k for students. If you want to take pictures inside, pay Rp 10k for pocket camera, and Rp 20k for pro camera. There will be a guide who accompany us wandering the four studios of the museum. It was very informative for me.
