(4.4/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Surf the waves of Green Bowl Beach, a secluded tropical paradise characterized by algae-covered green rocks, visible at low tide. You'll have to descend more than 300 stone steps to reach this isolated spot, but once there you'll be rewarded with plenty of peace and quiet. Those not up for surfing can lounge on the sand, snorkel, and enjoy the view of the steep cliffs surrounding the ocean. Explore the white sand coast lined with caves, where you can spot bats in their daily slumber. • gorgeous and beach, crystal clear water, very calm and nothing built around the Central magnificent. one of the few Virgin beaches that remain on the island probably. Prepare for low 200 stairs, but worth the walk... on bass, waits for you, white sand, caves where the Balinese are still having ceremonies and the selling of typical bracelets of any beach in indonesia... but nothing more! eye to the bathing is that the currents of water are strong! and if want to water or some snack, before start to down stairs will find a small grocery store where sold of all! regatead prices! :)

  • Lots of steps down - but worth it. Make sure you go at low tide - no beach at high tide. You will need to hire a taxi or scooter to get there - it's off the beaten track, hence its quiet and peaceful.
  • Definitely worth a visit. If you can, make the most of it, with a picknic and all. Truly a cool spot. There's heaps of shade if needed and water is amazing, also very good for a surf.

  • The view is great, sea water is very clear and the beach is clean because there is not much crowd here. There are a few caves along the beach where you can rest under the shade of the cave to avoid sun heat. To access the beach, you have to walk down roughly 330 step of stairs. To walk back up when leaving the beach can be a challenge for some people. This could be partly contribute to the low number of visitors.
  • Great surfspot and an amzing beach with a really cool bat cave. Just dare to take the stairs down and of course up again. Bring water and some snack if you stay the day cause theres nothing to buy down there
  • Clean and great view! I've been here twice and will be going here again next time. Clear water with tons of sea creatures. But please be cautious while you're in the water, because i just saw a sea snake there, no kidding
  • Amazing place. Very beautiful and clean beach. You have to go down a few hundreds stairs to fond the beach, but it ia worth the effort.
  • Awesome and not crowded beach, reamky clean water and cool place to snorkel as well. It upset me that you need to pay entrance and the beach is not even clean. Bring some water for climbing up the stairs on the way back :)
