  • This small beach is still natural and free. You need to go down about 200m so you need a good stamina. However beware of the selling women. After we came back from the beach, by climbing a lot of stai...  more »
  • The beach was small but beautiful. A lot of stones, you had to pay some attention. The water was clear and great for cooling. What we didn't think was so nice was that an elderly lady wanted 10000 R to watch out for our scooter when we denied it she berated us ... That was very uncomfortable. And down on the beach we were asked several times for drinks, sales and massages that it just annoyed and we wanted to go ...

  • Out of all beaches in Bali. This was just not worth going to. We went there and there are aggressive women trying to sell you sarongs and bracelets not giving up. One made us give her money for lookin...  more »

  • Beautiful beach with strong waves and good views. Some things to remember don’t bring a lot of stuff with you because there’s literally 334 stairs for your access to the beach, also bring a lots of water with you because you’ll probably feel tired after going up and down the stairs. But worth to visit!
  • Truly a mesmerising sight. This place is very difficult to get to, because of the hundreds of steep, sometimes slippery, stairs you must use to get there (also - keep in mind the journey back up!) But my oh my, is it unreal. The sand is white, clean, and full of corals and shells. There is seaweed and other aquatic vegetation in the water that only adds to the surreality of this place. At some points you can even see small fish swimming around (even at very shallow areas of the water). There are beautiful, unique flat rocks with green vegetation covering them - a sight which I believe is only visible at low tides - amid the water, and it's very unreal. There are also three caves behind, which have quite a bit of life around (crabs mostly - lots of them), so I wouldn't recommend trying to go very deep into one of them! But this place is a beauty. The waves behind can get very big, but reaching the shores they become quite calm. We did spot a few surfers there too, so if you're looking for a surf around an uncluttered beach, this place seems totally worth it. It truly is a hidden paradise, and even that some would consider an understatement. Also, if you are planning to take the journey down the hundreds of steps - keep in mind they are steep, winding, and sometimes can get slippery. Very tiring especially when you're making the journey back to the top. Only come here if you know your legs can take it. We did see a few who found the journey back to the top very arduous. Overall, this place is almost too beautiful to be real. Definitely worth a visit if you can manage the steps. If you believe it might be a bit of a trip, fear not, Bali has other lovely beaches that do not require 300-500 steps worth of climbing. Good luck, and be safe!
  • Beautiful beach and clean. Avoid bringing heavy bags as you’ll go up to hundreds of stairs. Not suitable for people with legs problems. On a good bright day you’ll catch the vibrant orange color sunset. Good for taking pictures as not many people visit the beach. Don’t take pictures of the locals specially the ones who sold bracelets as they will force you to pay for the pictures and the bracelets with ridiculous price!
  • It’s a great beach to visit. There are lots of steps to go down and come up. It’s quite a nice experience and it’s different than other beaches in Bali.
  • This exotic hidden gem just off the south of Bali is a paradisiacal heaven inaccessible to the regular throngs of tourists but perfect for those who’re just looking to get away. When you hear about Green Bowl Beach, there may be some curiosity as to why people call it that. Green Bowl or a bowl of green has the name is because when the low tide occurs, it will form a kind of bowl of rock as you see the green of the hill surrounding the beach.
