Puri Saren Palace, Ubud

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
2.9/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web
Wander through a small section of the tranquil grounds of Puri Saren Palace, full of intricate sculptures, religious carvings, and ornate architecture. The palace once served as the former residence of Tjokorda Gede Agung Sukawati (1910–1978), the last ruling monarch of Ubud. Today the grounds are open to the public (not the building though), and hold regular cultural performances featuring masked performers and fire dancers moving to hypnotic percussion.
  • It's very pretty but crowded with tourists, it is not very pleasant when it's very hot, something which happens frequently in Ubud
