  • My wife and I had so much fun at this class. We loved the market tour and the attention to detail. The area where we cooked was open and airy so not too hot. The food was delicious and our hosts graci...  more »
  • Judging by the number of stars on Tripadvisor, this cooking class chosen. Afterwards we also know where they have come from the 5 star; by the end of the cooking course 15 minutes to say that everyone Paon on Tripadvisor really 5 star. The course fell very against, because at the beginning all the ingredients for 6 different dishes are nominated, and then you take a vegetable is going to cut Starter 1, then pureeing a portion goes peanuts appetizer 5, then again something cuts Starter 3: there is no logic in and at the end of the ride you have no idea what you have done for which court. Our group was also with 17 people, making you no personal guidance. You get for this money really better cooking courses in Ubud, so be warned!

  • All good. Good enviroment. Good people. Good food. The only thing i liked less is that we were too many people in the class (14 people)  more »

  • If you are lucky enough to get a reservation for this class, you must go. You will learn more about Balinese family life and cooking than anywhere else. You will have a lovely experience cooking traditional foods while being taught by a local family. You will also meet other interesting people from around the world who will be learning with you. The food is amazing, and the recipes are given to you to take home. A truly unique and special opportunity to enjoy the Balinese lifestyle.
  • All I can say is WOW! Probably the best traditional Balinese food we had during our holiday, and we made it ourselves. Not only is the cooking class very fun but it’s extremely professional. The food was amazing and it’s a great way to experience the culture. Highly recommend taking the time to try it out.
  • This was amazing! We chose the morning class and got picked up from our hotel and taken on a tour of the market. The tour was excellent and we got to try new fruits that I've never even heard of before. Everyone stayed together and our guide was very knowledgeable and good with English. When we arrived for the cooking class we were greeted with smiles and a drink. The place is beautiful! This is their family home. We did the prep work first and rotated stations so everyone got to try doing the different things. All the food and cooking equipment is washed with bottled water. The cooking was done mostly in 2s and some people changed partners each time. It was a very friendly atmosphere for all. All the steps are well explained and there's help if you need it. Our hosts were very nice and very helpful. The food tasted great! It's a fun way to try some traditional Bali dishes.
  • What an engaging experience! We learned so much during the cooking class, and I was delighted to learn how to recreate these delicious meals (substitutes were suggested when things are tricky to find back home). She really accommodated vegetarians and people with food allergies. $350k (about $35) seemed to be a good value. They were highly organized and professional as well!
  • This is a very cool experience. The people are awesome and explain everything clearly and concise. It’s situated in a beautiful area. The facilities are clean. And the lessons are fun! All the food you make is so easy and delicious 😍 so much fun, especially with friends and family!
