  • In search of the best Massage in Bali we ended up at Ida’s. For us it is not so important that your feet get washed in the flower water and that you get some tea after you’re treatment..what counts...  more »
  • I’ve previously had massages from Ida which were fantastic and led me to assume all of her massage therapists would be trained to a high standard. Unfortunately this is not the case. I had a...  more »
  • It was a great experience. As others said- it's not a relaxing massage, it's an actual deep tissue massage when they work very thoroughly on every muscle while applying a lot of pressure, they use...  more »

  • Personally my favorite massage in Bali... And I've been to quite a few places, Daddy loves a good massage... Ida and her family do an amazing job, yes, it is a deep tissue massage, yes, it can be painful at times, but yes, it is worth it and it's painful because they are getting in there and your body has developed knots and other muscle issues that they sort out. If you want a good massage, every time.. I highly recommend Ida's place. If you want a soft, gentle massage, half-pressure massage where they just rub your skin with oils, this is probably not the place for you.. but if you want a fully authentic and amazing deep tissue massage experience. This is literally the best I have found in Bali. Hatas gonna hate, but appreciators of good massages will certainly appreciate. Thanks Ida!
  • Best massage I’ve ever had so far! I always have trouble with my back. She really triggered the right spots ad used a lot of pressure to work it through. I felt so released and good after it! Will definitely come back Again
  • To be clear, I enjoy the hurt so good massage. I don’t go there to be put to sleep or be super relaxed, I’m there to have all of the knots worked out of my back. That being said, this was one of if not the best massage of my life. Plenty of attention was paid to the knots, and they really got into them with their hands and elbows. Thoroughly enjoyed this massage, and would highly recommend for someone that enjoys a true deep tissue massage!
  • I just want to give my sincerest thanks. After 3 abdominal massages with Eby, I no longer have to take ibuprofen for my menstrual cramps. I’ve had to take ibuprofen every single month since I was 11 and I’m in my 30s now. This is HUGE for me!!! Advil was the ONLY western medication I was taking because my cramps were that unbearable. I still have to spend the first day of my period in bed because there is still pain, but I just rest and breathe through it now. It’s manageable without medication whereas before I would have been in agonizing pain. Thank you so much for helping me heal. Oh and I just wanted to add BE PREPARED because the first and second massages hurt SOOOOOO much!!! But the second one hurt less than the first and then the third one barely hurt at all. And I came back for a fourth one this month and once again barely any pain. So I truly feel their treatment is effective. Also I have heard you have to do these massages at least three times to see the effects.
  • I go here every time I come to Bali, at least every week I'm here. For me, it's one of the best massages. Top 3 I've ever had of the 20 countries I've had them with over 50 massage therapists. What I like in a massage; strong, really getting in and working out those sore spots, focusing on fixing things instead of just pleasure of massage. It's not a luxury spa, which I don't want and don't want to pay for. You get high quality attentive service in a very basic but comfortable space. It will hurt a bit, it's pushing on all the places that are tight and sore. They know where to find them. You will also be a bit sore after. That is exactly what I want and feel my muscles are much looser at the end and like I really got a proper, trained massage. I love the technique. Some people are looking more for relaxing spa space, gentle massage with little bits of pressure here and there, flowers, etc. There are a lot of nice places like that in Ubud as well, but not here. I feel the bad reviews come from people who were expecting that and instead got a deep tissue massage. This is great for people with specific problem area or general tightness and desire to get in at those tight spots despite the slight discomfort. I love this place!
