  • Better than no nature. But definitely on the short side of things. Now with COVID no other tourists and hence empty. With more tourists will surely be packed and not sure if enjoyable.  more »
  • Nice long walk along the ridge with interesting views along the way and a few places to stop for a drink or to eat near the end of the walk. Great to do on a nice day!  more »
  • Great to spend your early riser walk in the morning around ubud. Serene, eclectic and mystifying. Ubud what else can you say  more »
  • This is a good way to get out of the city without needing to leave. The walk is very easy about 20 min long and has paving stones the whole way. The South side starts along a river and goes by a temple. This section is steep but short. We did the hike at sunset on a full moon day and it was spectacular. There were 270 degree views of the full moon rising and the breath taking colors of the sun set. Unless there is a full moon rising I would suggest finding something else to do with your time. If you are near by it's a great way to burn some of that amazing Bali food off. It is however better then staring at a computer screen.
  • This place is lush green with river flowing down adjacent to the path. The best timing to visit is during sunset and sunrise because you would love the combination of greenery and that reddish zenith. At least I loved it. It's around a 2km stretch where you can walk with little elevation. It's around a km away from the Monkey Forest so you can easily walk down to this place.
  • If you love hiking, then this place is good for you. Recommended time to visit this place is in the morning. Do not forget to use your sport shoes! I needed almost 1 hour to walk a long the way Campuhan (one way) and decided not to return to initial parking area. I just called our driver to pick me up at the end of Campuhan hiking track. At the end of Campuhan hiking track, we can find mini Mart to buy mineral water, to refresh the energy!
  • A very pretty hike along a ridge with drop offs to valleys on either side. There is some climbing getting in and out but nothing too strenuous. I started at Rutherford south end about 6.30am and it was already hot in some of the clearings with no shade. Next time will bring water and start at first light. Oh yes a hat is good. Lots of beautiful vistas.
  • Very pleasant hike if you go early morning like 6,7,8 am or in the evening. Some place uneven steps. Most is paved pathway. Some shade. Very scenic. Few places photo spot. After some distance small village with souvenir shops, cafe and restaurants to replenish energy.
