One of the most rewarding free activities in Ubud, Campuhan Ridge Walk doubles as a picturesque and eco-friendly bicycle ride. This paved trail traverses some of Bali's prettiest landscapes and offers nature lovers a chance to get some fresh air, stretch their legs, and escape the more crowded southern sections of the island. The trek starts at an 8th-century shrine in Ubud and snakes across verdant hills for a little over 9 km (5 mi). Suitable for hikers and cyclists of all ages and fitness levels, the trail passes through tiny villages and right next to a cozy guesthouse, where you can rest and recharge before going back or charging onward. Campuhan Ridge Walk Reviews
A nice long walk across the ridge would take about an hour or so depending on your speed. The view never gets boring and is always fun to take pictures mid walk. Locals also use this ridge for running... more »

Sehr schön um mal etwas abzuschalten vom ganzen Trubel in Ubud. 2,5km auf und ab. An gutes Schuhwerk denken. more »Very nice time to turn off something from the whole crowds in Ubud. 2, 5km up and down. Thinking about footwear.
We found this place from social media, where many people talk photo on top of a hill. So we visited this place. It’s a 2 km walking track with beautiful view. The walking path is also very friendly even for kids below 5 years. There are some high steps, but not much. It’s worth to visit and walk here. But they can put better sign four tourist so we know where we are heading ....
This walk was the best way how to make connection with magical Bali island (just some days after arrival) as well as a good way to start the day. Absolutely worth to go there! Recommend to start walking early in the morning at 6am-7am to avoid heat when climbing uphill and crowds of tourists. Not much to see except wonderful nature around and to feel yourself as a part of nature. In villages you can meet some local people and to see how they live. After walking of about 2-3 km there is hidden pathway on the right side with an exit to amazing place with panoramic view! Also late afternoon walk is good - 3 or 4pm-6pm. Return walk takes about 2-3 h but depends how far you go and how many photo-stops you have. So if you here visit this place ..#Suresh IDEA
This is one of the tourist attractions in Ubud but involves a lot of walking. The scenery on both the side of the ridge is very good. The day we went for the walk was very hot and this made it impossible for us the complete the track. The best thing you can do is get some food find a place on the ridge with some shade and have your food whilst enjoying the views. You can also cycle through the ridge which is pretty cool. For not so fit people make sure have enough water food and strength before the trek. Would recommend this place only for people who loves trek and or walking.
It was a good walk. Can be a bit steep at times but really not that bad. Isn't very long either. Once you get quite far through the walk there is some great places to eat.
Very nice short hike just outside Ubud. Not too strenuous. We took a car to the end and walked back to town, which was much easier with kids then walking the track from town, which is all uphill. DO NOT take a pram with you as the paving is very bumpy.
