Lake Linau, Tomohon

#1 of 23 in Nature in Sulawesi
Water Body Nature / Park
Hike around Lake Linau, featuring a high sulfur content responsible for the water's changing colors. Look for hues of green, blue, yellow, orange, and white on the surface, but remember that you cannot swim here. The lake's bottom drops quickly and the mud can be dangerous. Spend some of your time exploring the pine forest, soaking in the hot spring's sulfur baths, or relaxing in the nearby cafes.
