  • It's a shame when the fortress that is the opposite of this market are phenomenal ... reminiscent of past history ... berteengger looks as well as gun trenches around the Fort, massuk into the Fort. .. reminded of the movie the story of colonial Netherlands .... some of the buildings had already been used for museums and local government activities ... just a pity ... not groomed.

  • Its location in the city center, easy enough to access, some parts of the Castle are still in use for arts activity, the inner part of the Castle are still clean, for more details about this place please watch on youtube channel Alfalegro road

  • Nice heritage. Renovated at 2013 by the ministry of culture. But the wall is still its original building. Inside there are culture and museum office ,traditional language office and some culture communities, traditional music community, and traditional dance community.
  • Like it and to know the story behind this fort in Ternate. Very beautiful history
  • Free entry. I wish I could see the Museum Rempah, but it's closed. Fort Oranje is a 17th-century Dutch fort located at the center of Ternate City on the island of Ternate, one of the Moluccas in Indonesia. The fort is the largest in Ternate Island. Fort Oranje was once the capital of Dutch East India Company's trade empire in Asia until it was moved to Batavia. (Wikipedia)
  • Fort Oranje is a 17th-century Portuguese fort. The Dutch take it over and mark it as the capital of V.O.C. (Dutch East India Company's trade in Asia). The fort located at the center of Ternate city, North Maluku, Indonesia. The fort is the largest in Ternate Island. The government of Ternate recently renovate it and build a nice park in front of the fort.
  • Very nice fort. Built by the Portuguese and later expanded by the Dutch.
