(4.5/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Admire the intricate stone carvings and various statues and shrines at Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. A Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu, the preserver god who rules over water, this hidden gem features grounds filled with natural springs and lotus ponds inhabited by golden carp. You can feed the fish, roam the lush forest landscape, and even drink the pure cold water from the springs. Be prepared to descend quite a lot of steps to get to the site, but once you do you will be rewarded with lovely surroundings and views of the rice fields. • This visit caused us a lot of annoyance. We got out of the car and immediately made contact with the US a baba. She started obwijać sarongami without questions, without permission. Said only that you have to have a sarong. It has entered us into a shack and changed already have sarongi on the "male". The first time I asked then, is it for free. She said she need to have a sarong and will still need. I asked again, and she with a giant smile she sang ... 650K per person, more than 200 PLN for a piece of cloth. I have found that there is no way i want it with us take. After long negotiations ended up on lower-priced sarongach for 75 k. Despite the wyraźanego of dissatisfaction for sure and Yes your earned. On the way to the temple itself is still a lot of stalls with its similar. There are also stalls after the entrance to the "ticket". When you check the tickets (15 k/person) you can buy a sarong za...co grace (although probably on the annotation of a minimum price, but do not give head cut off). The temple itself is still a piece of road up the stairs. Can you teochę sweat. Being already in order to see cool views, and at the temple and on the rice terraces. A lot of sightseeing there. This is a trip that costs a bit (on your own), and it is not very satisfactory.

  • Beautiful temple which is located between the rice fields. First you descend on stone stairs on both sides with shops and small restaurants. This will lead you to a beautiful temple complex with clear signs. It all looks very neat and clean. The climb up is good to do because then you can buy a bottle of water or fresh coconut. Entrance 15,000 and a sarong you got at the entrance. Despite that all the ladies with stalls say no.

  • This site is especially notable. More than just a temple, there is a monastery nestled in a small valley. Between two cliffs, there are temples and caves carved into the cliff. 250 markets down and reassemble experience magnificent terraced rice paddies. This healthy exercise is really to do and contrasts with the traditional visits of more classical temples.

  • This place looks like it's been built in a quarry. It's a nice calm place to sit and just watch the fish in the big pond. The way the jungle just grows down the sheer walls is just amazing, You could be in a (Apocalypse Now ) film set.
  • The fact that this holy water temple is the least visited temple complexes in Ubud make it even more special to me. I'm captivated by the surrounding beauty and the tranquility.
  • A beautiful temple. One of the biggest attractions is that it is much less visited than other temples in the area although it has great significance in Bali.

  • Sebatu-Gunung Kawi Temple Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu, Gunung Kawi remains near a beautiful pond that we went. Beautiful ponds like the fountain at the back sits the pagoda. It was various statues and unique features. It is a temple in Bali the most liked.
