  • Very nice place to visit though nothing extraordinary. Best to go in the morning, while there are fewer people. It's a great place to chill, float around in the pools and experience some cool Balinese...  more »
  • I think this was one of the best things we did in and around Lovina. Hidden gem. Not expensive, late afternoon not crowded. There are changing rooms and lockers. All affordable. My wife did not trust ...  more »
  • It reminds me a bit of the Aquabasilea in Pratteln. Warm water, very nice facility and quiet. An hour of relaxation is also good here...

  • Just left there. Nice hot spring, but a few drawbacks that would probably prevent me from going again. Once we pay $20,000 rupiah per person to get in, they ask you for a "donation" to park your scooter. A locker costs $5,000 and toilets are $3,000. There are shops lined up outside of the hot springs so the sellers (of mostly clothing) try to get you when you go in and when you go out to buy their stuff. The ladies are a lot like seagulls when you are flaunting bread around. They hone in on you and trail you and try to pull you into their store and they are all competing with each other to get you to do this so be prepared to walk fast and say no if you don't want to buy anything. One lady told my husband that she was "my friend" and so I needed to go into her store. You have to say no very firmly many times to get them to stop following you. Actually, I had to kind of jog a bit to get away from them. You can only use the bathroom in the hot springs and not get charged $3000 rupiah if you buy a meal there. The lunch we had of chicken satay and vegetable rice was good. The toilet is is always $3000 unless you pay in the restaurant. Not sure if that is every time you go to the toilet or just once. Hard to tell. So what that tells me is everyone is likely peeing in the hot springs so they do not have to pay for the toilet. Just FYI. Some people might care about that. I have visited a lot of hot springs around the world is this is a pretty one, but I don't like having to pay for the bathroom and am not crazy about the aggressive vendors outside. It is pretty annoying. I hate shopping when I am being hounded and I am much less likely to look when it is set up that way. I will usually run away instead. I like to shop and not be bothered. But maybe I am not like most people.
  • Lovely greenery. Lots of different size pools. Well organized. Didn't like the sliminess. But did enjoy sitting in the warm holy water.
  • Nice hot springs. Water looks greenish and has a slight sulfur scent but nothing that many hot springs do not have. Very relaxing. Depth of upper and lower pools are 1m and large central pool shown in picture is 1m that goes to 2m on far end. Staff is friendly at pool, lockers, toilets and restaurant. Costs: 20k entry, donation for parking, 5k for a big locker and 3k for toilets. Restaurant above pools is nice and enjoyed the daily special chicken satay and noodles. Vendors outside are very aggressive so keep your head down and ignore or say no firmly. Kind of typical tourist "buy my cheap stuff" sales tactics, just more aggressive then many other places.
  • There are 3 hot spring basins you can dip into. The water coming out is more lukewarm rather than hot. There's fresh water shower as well. Make sure you don't wear white bikini is you like to keep it white. The sulfur from the water would definitely discolor it. The changing rooms are free but you have to pay for the locker (which is huge) and toilet.
  • The water temperature is perfect and there is a big pool to enjoy the hot water. Also if you want to have some relaxing treatment, you can use the high waterfall.
