  • I come here every now and then. The best time are early morning and late afternoon. It is in the border of east Lombok & north Lombok which tend to be too hot in the afternoon. Remember to bring...  more »
  • I went here with my friend, I did a small research of waterfalls in Lombok. This was the least reviewed. So we decided to drive and see if it is worth for a visit. When we arrived, it was unusual due....  more »
  • We walked from the main road. There is a tiny poster sized sign but the give away is the stalls randomly on the side of the road next to the bridge. No guide necessary just walk upstream. Pristine...  more »

  • Amazing place to be at! Cool waters and a safe place for family to hang out
  • The Easiest yet stunning Dewi Selendang is the last water fall in Kokok Putek (White River) stream. Located before the Kokok Putek intersection / Kokok Putek market. kokok Putek borders Lombok Timur and Lombok Utara. Dewi Selendang has the easiest path to reach. It is around 30 minutes drive to the west of Sembalun before we saw big banner of Dewi Selandang that marked that we have to park. At weekends there are parking man and ticket table inside the cashew nut orchard. Park your car by the road and follow the path. From the ticket table (5k/pax) you walk 10 minutes before going down then left. We passed many banana trees on the left and right then passed camping site before going down to the river. Another 10 minutes walk to reach the fall. The water is so clean! And oh the waterfall is so stunning! (There were two side by side). The water color is beautiful green. It is safe enough to swim in the falls I think because the stream is split into two, far from the source and quite short that the pressure is not as strong as the one in the upper stream. Kokok Putek has so many waterfalls before Dewi Selendang. Bring your own food /meal at week days. At weekends they sell drink and snack / instand noodle and you can relax and enjoy in their 'pelangkan' On Thursday you may meet people harvest cashew nut. Take stunning picture in the orchad. Come to the fall at a clear day. If it is dark in the sky please do not to stay long time as the river may flood though we never heard about it. Bring a pole to help you balance if you need it. If you like a bit extreme you may go on climbing the cliff next to the fall and you may find Batu Candi a beautiful stream above the fall. Have fun in the fall and stay safe.
