  • One of a good temple at Semarang that located near the Semarang Old Town and Chinese Town. The parking lot is quite big, and the place is near the well known Lunpia and Noodle Shop at Gang Lombok. Worth place to visit.
  • My favorite temple in Semarang, as well as the oldest. The entrance gate, the roof, and the main building frame still look old and quite preserved. I just wish they would clean up the place and people wouldn't just park their motorbike right on the porch of the temple. And some information like in Sam Poo Kong would surely help visitors understand the historical value and importance of the temple.
  • Larger than I thought. Nice people.
  • The place location is on a narrow street and near the popular lumpia at gang lombok. The temple also some of the oldest temple in Semarang city
  • Established on 1746, this temple hosts Avalokitesvara Bodhisttva (Guanyin Pusa or the Goddess of Mercy). With preserved architectural values, it is now a Tri-Dharma (Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism) place of worship
