  • Fun stuff. Just wear long sleeves or bug spray. Bring a flashlight and be ready to pay 10k to get in. But I heard you can go around to the beach and sneak in. Your call.
  • Over grown theme park looks something from an apocalypse movie. There is much to see and explore around here and plenty of scenic displays for the photographers out there. I recommend entering from the beach as there are locals who sit at the main gate charging people to enter. These locals do not own or belong to the property and paying them encourages them to continue to charge people to visit a place which is essentially free to visit. We had a couple of encounters with them in the park and they didn't try stop us when we told them we weren't going to pay them as there isn't much they can do. There were several other groups of people in the park including photographers and tourists so it's not that scary walking around.
  • Really cool abandoned theme park. Guess it went bankrupt after the Bali bombings. It's quite large for exploring, and pretty spooky. Nice variety of street art decorates the decaying and decrepit buildings. I spent two hours wondering around taking photos, not bad for 10,000 rupiah. Watch out for holes though. Especially in the cinema. Bring a torch and mosquito repellent.
  • Creepy. Eerie. Love it. Definitely worth it.
  • Never been here when it's still open. It has nice architechture and layout actually and hear from many of my friends that the place is haunted. The beach itself like there is no one who take care so it looks dirty.

Where to stay in Denpasar

Beachside hotels and resorts in Denpasar offer relaxing options, though prices remain high in accommodations with many facilities and good views. Many locals offer rooms for rent, while rental apartments provide another affordable and slightly more private alternative. Search farther away from the waterfront for lower rates, offered by basic hotels and budget villas.
