Sanur Beach, Sanur

(3/5 based on 5,000+ reviews on the web)
Swim, sail, or simply bask on the warm sand at Sanur Beach, located just a half hour's drive from the area's international airport. The beach curves for nearly 5 km (3.1 mi) along the southeastern section of the island and remains one of its more serene holiday destinations. During World War II, this part of the coastline provided the entry point for invading Japanese troops. Today, the beach and its surroundings contain several resort hotels and villas, drawing pleasure seekers from distant corners of the world. If you get antsy, take a walk to the nearby Hindu temple, one of Bali's oldest man-made structures. Put Sanur Beach and other Denpasar attractions into our Denpasar vacation trip planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Hyatt beachclub is a good place to be at the beach by. Here is no agresive sellers and many restaurants right down to the water's edge. Very nice place to visit.

  • Were in Sanur in November, may was not quite the season? Although there was no rain, it was always sunny. The sea is calm, without waves, but floating algae. Water is not transparent and turquoise as in advertisements, beach water turbid, his feet under water you will not see. Reminiscent of the Black Sea in Budapest or Gelendzhik. Sand not so white. The beach itself is clean and well-maintained. On the beach are worth Bowers for rest. People sunning on the beach. Water fun is not. Three days of our stay no tides and tides were observed, and could swim in the morning and in the evening and at lunch. In General, no remarkable Beach, so we retreated to the nearby nearby island Nusa Lembongan. That's where the fabulously beautiful island-turquoise sea, white sand, beautiful places, hotels on the hills with Infinity pools. Many different beautiful beaches on the island and does not compare with the beaches of Sanur. Don't waste time in Sanur and straight to Lembongan. Personally we return no longer in Sanur.

  • Yellow sandy beach very long, very calm and quiet. Finding according to ebb and flow of the tides. Some spaces reserved for hotels, some others left wild ou locals like to navigate at night and on Sunday. Across the canoes to rockers littering the beach enhanced with bright colors. Really relaxing and charming.
