Rubiah Island, Sabang

(3.9/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
The real highlight of Rubiah Island takes place just offshore, where coral reefs and tropical fish surround the coastline. Simple snorkeling gear lets you take a good look at diverse marine life that includes clown fish, sea cucumbers, starfish, giant clams, and small sharks. Take aqua shoes to protect your feet from the coral, but avoid stepping on and damaging the formations. If you get hungry, grab lunch at one of the restaurants on the island. Plan to see Rubiah Island and other attractions that appeal to you using our Pulau Weh vacation generator.

  • We were a full day touring various places on the island in one of the local boats. The underwater world that opens before your eyes is amazing. Banks of fish of all colors, starfish, corals and all marine creatures you can imagine, gave me very sorry not be able to devote some more days. The photos that accompanied here some samples of what has been lived. A fabulous and authentic place, no hotels or large restaurants, only small local businesses. I hope they hold many years.
