Dreamland Beach, Pecatu

(2.7/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Dreamland Beach boasts white sands, blue water, and a scattering of colorful parasols (just try not to turn around and look at the eyesore of a half-built resort someone plonked behind it). Sadly, the beach is not quite the hidden surfer hang-out it used to be, although the renowned shorebreak still attracts boarders from across the globe. That same shorebreak makes swimming difficult and dangerous for amateurs and children, however. Expensive cafes have replaced the surf huts and stalls, but they serve decent food. Getting to the beach is easiest via scooter, although the cost of parking one is quite expensive. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Pecatu holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Dreamland Beach and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • A beach beautiful but full of garbage. There is that pay for parking and the access not is very good. The beach itself has areas of rocks and is full of trash so much sand as water.
