Inspirock Rating:
2.8/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web
Take a hike across the forest-covered headland of Pangandaran National Park. Along the way see caves used by the Japanese during World War II, ruins of a Hindu temple, volcanic black sand beaches, and many wild beasts, including porcupines, barking deer, hornbills, monitor lizards, monkeys, and fruit bats. The proper way to arrive at the park is to take a boat to the main beach. Some tourists choose to swim or wade around the barrier marking the park's boundary on the western coast, but be aware this is technically illegal, if rarely enforced. • We had a rest with the husband in January in the town of Pangandaran on the ocean right outside the National Park. At the entrance there is a ticket office, buy a ticket and you for not a small money begin to impose conductors. These guides do not need everywhere in the Park, the track will not get lost. Wandering deer, monkey brazen. After you get to the jungle, refined pljazhik with white sand. On weekends I do not advise to come here, because this local come resort town and to bring their boats on the beach, even set foot. For local white people still more exotic, yell "Hey Mister!", all funny. But if you want to see the animals of the reserve, you can not pay, and sit on the beach with gray sand near the Park and watch. Deer and monkeys go themselves to people eating all this rubbish on the beach and no one is afraid.

  • There can be up to some confusion. Meant by TripAdvisor the National Park South of the town of Pangandaran is called directly by the sea "Cagar Alam". Some reviews but go by the Green Canyon and Valley of which lie a few kilometres west. The South Park is grossly overpriced, tourists must pay 20 x that times the locals since 2014. Green Canyon is a dream of a cave after rain and the Green Valley shines as well, also the direct surroundings on the river is beautiful.
