Located right in the center of one of the oldest cities in Southeast Asia, Great Mosque of Palembang represents a huge and storied structure that can hold 15,000 people. Built in the mid-18th century by Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I, the Mosque covered a distance of 1,080 sq m (11,625 sq ft) when it was originally built, with a capacity to hold 1,200 people. It's been steadily expanded to its current state during the subsequent centuries. Be sure to sample local delicacies and traditional foods such as kerupuk from one of the many food vendors surrounding the area.   • Referred to as the oldest mosque in palembang. Ampera Bridge stay in the immediate vicinity of, the accessibility is also good, if you look at the building exterior, inside look at the side of the road to the Dalai Lama as appearance of big mosque? Called suspicious. Cho LON is well recommended to walk lightly.
