  • no need to bring a mat to reply here, here are many who rent the mat at a price of 15-20 thousand ordinary beaches, aja. If a small child could bring water and rent the buoy is also here. But the water is not too clean beaches ditepi

  • Coastal Carolina was once quite popular, but over time is no longer known. Situated on a Bay of Lake Maninjau, Bungus, not far from where the fish auction. Due to being in the Bay area, the waves here are pretty quiet, with the depth of the sea can become a place of ramps yg yg is great for swimming. The entrance ticket costs Rp. 10.000/org adult (kids free) and parking fee Rp. 10.000/car. Here there is a jet ski rental or speed boat. To rent a speed boat to the island of sand cost Rp 200,000 for a round trip. For jet skiing and IDR 150,000/hour. This beach area is pretty shady, with pines on the edge of the beach, where you can rent a mat for Rp. 20,000 a day. But not available cabins for rent. There are several restaurants and also a toilet and bath with toilet condition yg less clean. Red sand with beach is pretty clean, and while you swim, you can watch the locals pull trawl (net meeting) in the afternoon and see fresh anchovy bagged. Manakan price here is somewhat more expensive than the market price, but the vendors peddling wares are very friendly, so you stay comfortable lingering here.

  • Carolina Beach is a white sandy beach with green trees lined up in the suburbs. Most of the coconut tree. The Carolina coastline is shaped like the letter W or heart image. This beach save the beauty under the sea with the coral reefs and fish. Travellers here can be refreshing while enjoying the beauty of the beach. Tourists can walk around the beach using a boat or Banana boating. Here the available hotels and restaurants are cooking fish typical of West Sumatra.

Where to stay in Padang

Following the massive earthquake of 2009, accommodation options in Padang have slightly decreased due to the demolishment of some of the city's older hotels. Since then, a spate of more modern hotels and lodgings have cropped up, offering onsite restaurants serving authentic local and international food, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Otherwise, family-owned and run guesthouses with clean, basic rooms (and sometimes ensuite bathrooms) remain the best options for budget-conscious backpackers.
