  • Nagoya is one of the favorite destinations if travel to the city of Batam, why this became one of the favourite destination because in it there are various shops selling souvenirs from batam or Singapore with the prices as well as oblique can be negotiable . So if you are visiting to Batam, take your time to stop by the shopping centre on this one.

  • The Mall resembles a more "gorbushku" with clothes or any other Maxim market. Of interesting was found Polo (Ralf Lauren), but it is rather an exception. Mostly Chinese noname consumer goods. For the most part wasted your time. But other options here seem to be no.

  • Like all Malls in Batam, Nagoya succeeds through a philosophy of organised chaos. Very good and inexpensive shops with flexible pricing (more for foreigners, but still negotiate), food and coffee. Wha...  more »

  • I've been staying here many times when go to Batam & this will be the only place I'll stay coz the ambience is good & the staff &management is wonderful!! Not to forget the ground & kitchen staff, they really really make my stay worthwhile. Keep it up people...😘😘😊👍👍👍
  • Quite an old place but one of the must go places if you like shopping. The arcade is 1 of the best places to visit if u have kids. It's really dirt cheap.
  • It's huge but as a visitor the things on offer doesn't seem that interesting. There are plenty of food options however the options itself may seem quite repetitive. There is a huge hardware store and supermarket which can be of interest as they have some items that are cheaper there compared to Singapore.
  • A quite sophisticated mall. Many Chinese descendants can be met. Also the most favourite place for Anambas islands dwellers to spend in Batam.
  • a shopping mall more catered to tourists in terms of brands and pricing. decent amount of shops and makan places. recommended for first-time go-ers.

Where to stay in Batam

Batam offers accommodations ranging from small hotels and apartments to large beach resorts, but without much in the budget department. By far the most popular spot to stay is Nagoya in the center of Batam city, on the north coast of the island. There you'll find plenty of activity, including a range of bars and restaurants, as well as close proximity to the beach. For something a bit quieter, try a spot close to the beach in Nongsa, on the island's east coast.
