You can see this temple if you're heading to Borobudur temple. It's a quiet place to visit, I mean, only a few visitors went here. You can smell incense in this temple. There are also three statues inside of this temple. I love those big trees, I can have a seat below them. Spent quiet few minutes or even hours here enjoying the ambience, what a cool place to relax.
Garavo ca Sovacassata, Samana nanca dassanam Kalena dhamma sakaccha Etam mangala muttamam Patience, obedience, sight of the holy ones and religious discussions at due season. This is the Supreme Blessing (Mangala Sutta)
I came here in the late afternoon, very atmospheric and uncrowded. There's a good size seated Buddha inside. Glancing up, there is a nice step pyramid shape making the ceiling look even taller. The grounds are well-tended and there is a Buddhist monastery across from the temple where you canh complete your visit with a stroll.
Very good evidence odf golden age of nusantara.
This is actually the quaint Buddhist monastery opposite to the temple. It has great ambience with few statues but nothing much to see.
