  • When travelling on the Irb wanted to visit only the Idzhen volcano, but added to the program Bromo. Traveled with us three year old daughter and had doubts whether the main transport artery. However, the desire to see everything with your own eyes and vvzjalo we drove on Bromo. All experiences were in vain. Came to the village of Cemoro Lawang before sunset and had time to admire the sunset from the edge of the caldera. At three in the morning went by Jeep to the observation deck for meeting dawn. The descent into the Valley, the horses up to the crater (I walked on foot back and forth), the climb to the crater and back to the hotel. That being on the edge of the caldera that, on Lookout, that in the Valley that the crater Bromo, anywhere open unrealistic, unearthly species. No, not like that! Fantastically fabulous! This is a must see with your own eyes.

  • Sishui must come to see this volcano, which is so awesome that it's amazing, we had dinner at 10 in the evening, and it took 3 hours to get to the destination of the night train, and then switched a jeep to the volcano for about 1 hours, maybe 3, so I slept on the train and waited for the sunrise in the car. Suggest wearing a thick or surrounded towel, because only 14 degrees wind is very big, so cold and cold! When we get to the sunrise, we go to the volcano's desert and we shoot many beautiful pictures. The volcano has a very strong sulphur smell on the volcano on the road is a little narrow, to walk carefully, the volcano has been a smoke, but also a huge impact, really let you praise the amazing nature of the wonderful! Advice on volcanic travel in old sports shoes, because it's all sand!

  • If you are in the group your experience will take only one night. But alone you have more opportunities. You don't need to hire any car if you like to walk. It is better to choose the hotel on the caldera edge because of the great wiew. You could just sit and enjoy. All spots you want to visit you could do by foot. It takes a bit more time but the scenery is marvellous and you will really enjoy the walk and make in between beautiful pictures.
  • You are better off doing it by yourself than going with a tour. To avoid the crowds arrive in town around noon. Settle in your accommodation. Get lunch and then walk to the Bromo crater around 2 pm. It is an easy 1 hour walk. Walk straight to towards the staircase and don't follow the road. It is shorter and you avoid the dust from cars and motorbikes. There are only few people at the crater rim in the late afternoon. Another plus is that they don't seem to charge the entry fee in the afternoon. After getting back get dinner and sleep until 3pm. Get up and go to one of the sunrise spots. Stay until the tour people are gone for more photo opportunities. Enjoy.
  • This is the most popular place for all people visiting east java. Spectacular views and clean air. The best place to relieve and to rejuvenate. Love this place so much.
  • I had a very great experience when visiting Bromo! The view was really, really made my heart pounding and made me always feel grateful for all I have. Catching up the sunrise is the main activity when visiting bromo, such a happy time! 😄
  • Best during sunrise yet flocked with tourists. It's better to hire a local guide that can show you a better place to watch the sunrise, away from the regular tourists tracks.
