  • Captivated my travel and my colleagues the idea of going after better value than that they were in the streets of Ubud in a market on the outskirts of the city. To go there, to the Southeast, we enjoyed everyday of this region, hacendosa and creative scene. Everybody working wood, textiles, stone and, closely linked to religious offering, basketry routines. The market is in a very solid construction of architecture traditional, quite careless, but full of positions of dealers in fabrics of all kinds, willing to negotiate in a more free environment than the resorts, where more predictable parts are also concentrated. Here on the other hand, beside most honest prices, the market offers interesting surprises!

  • Local market great for buying textiles, explore past the fabric sellers to the back of the market for the local market selling all sorts of things and vegetables. Pick up something small if you don't feel like buying anything even if it's just incense, so the local people don't feel your there just to gawp. Very authentic local life. Clean tourist toilet in the parking area for a small fee.
  • Good to buy balinese traditional dress
  • The main market for the community of Klungkung/Semarapura and now have started to rise and first settled, hopefully more and more local tourists and foreign tourists to stop by here
