Jatijajar Cave, Kebumen

(30+ reviews on the web)
Visit the vast natural phenomenon of Jatijajar Cave, adorned with jaw-dropping stalagmites and stalactites. Concrete floors and railings make the interior easily accessible. Step inside to see white statues depicting images from Raden Kamandaka, a Sundanese folklore tale, and observe running water believed to be able to preserve youth. Wear shoes suitable for slippery surfaces, and be ready to climb many steps before reaching the cave's entrance.
