White Sand Beach, Karangasem

(3.9/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web)
Experience a day by the sea at White Sand Beach. A long stretch of coastline that has become more and more popular in recent years, the beach represents a great place for a swim and a relaxing day under a hired beach umbrella. With more tourists discovering its charms, the beach has become busier of late, but there's enough room for everyone on this long stretch of sand. One upshot of the beach's burgeoning popularity is the food--new restaurants, cafes, and stalls have opened, offering fine examples of local cuisine throughout the day. • In our visit to this beach here were pretty strong waves in the rest of the beach is quite normal, without heaps of garbage, with refreshing and clean water. There are sunbeds for which you have to pay regardless of the food and beverage orders, and there are free, so you should ask.

  • We was sailed to the beach, as part of a larger snorkelingtur. The beach is without a doubt the best beach in Bali, when it comes to the possibility of snorkele directly from the beach. The corals and fishes in the area are many and so are the colors and number of species. Really impressive and much better than many of the other beaches we were out and snorkel from Bali

  • Paradise in Padang Bai! Locals owning the warungs are very friendly and you get an hour massage for 50.000idr fresh big young coconut at 20.000idr and sarungs at 30.000idr while enjoying music being played by them
  • A quiet and bit hidden white sand beach. Decently clean. Not the best spot for snorkeling as the waves can get pretty big and you have to go a ways out for any spot the fish could be living. But good for playing in the waves and laying on the beach. If you come from the parking lot and go down the stairs take the metal door you'll pass on the left to get to the beach. If you continue down the stairs you'll end up in a cove. Pretty nice but not your destination! An out house/bathroom is available for 5000 IDR.
  • Its ok but nothing special. The sea was ful of rubbish and plastic bags. Entry fee 15k
  • Nice beach, but be wary of very strong riptides. Can get rough, enough to sweep you off your feet and drag you along the shore! Lots of fun if you are careful :-)
  • Lots of rubbish from the moment you turn off the road to walk around 400m to the beach. The beach itself is fairly nice and relatively clean considering how close it is to the harbour.
