Discover Bali's royal history at Taman Tirtagangga, a water palace featuring a network of fountains and pools surrounded by well-manicured gardens. Though it looks ancient, the palace complex actually dates back to the 1940s. Carefully restored after a nearby volcano erupted in 1963, the grounds boast an impressive eleven-tiered fountain that forms the centerpiece of the surrounding sculpture gardens. Make a brief visit to photograph these highlights and relax amid the verdant scenery, or plan a longer tour of the terraced countryside to see fertile rice paddies and a number of old temples. • After visiting Lempuyang Temple we had planned on stopping by here to see a different sort of tourist attraction. Located around 30 minutes from the temple this water palace is a one stop location to....  more »
  • The lake setting just adds a special touch to this wonderful Temple. Usually it is full of people but due to the virus it was fairly empty.  more »

  • very interesting tourist attractions and ticket prices are very affordable. Here there are a lot of very large goldfish and there are baths or ponds to clean themselves because the place is very special here. the person or the manager is very nice and friendly
  • It's very busy but much cleaner than before - the gardens have matured. More public toilets and things to do. Really enjoyed this visit with my wife and friends.
  • Very touristy, but really pretty! Definitely worth a visit. Amazing statues and massive khoi fish. Grab a small packet of fish food from the stalls outside and get some great pics of the greedy fish coming to get their snack! We were lucky enough to visit on a holy day and got to see people from the local village giving offerings and being blessed, dressed in their traditional holy attire.
  • The most touristy place we visited in Bali/Lombok so far, but still not so crowded that it was annoying. The water palace is really beautiful and you can by fish food which or kids of 5 and 7 loved. We spend an hour here just enjoying the peaceful surroundings and feeding the fish. The sales people are nice and we only payed for one of the children. We were there around 3 pm.
  • Wonderful palace and garden with a lot of water and several pools. For a small fee you can even swim in 2 of the great pools together with fisch. Extremely soft and clean water. A once in a lifetime experience
