  • What a pleasure to wander throughout the Black Beach of Amed. At this time of the year, she is probably one of the quietest of the island, and we can really share the daily life of locals. Surrounded by many bars, or coastal restaurants, you can even see the return of the fishermen of the village, for the morning of you. We also meet a young Indonesian who took us with him on his boat, to a beautiful part of fishing, before our invite to eat at home the same evening, with our fish caught the day and prepared by his mother. Excellent memory.

  • We visited a homestay in Amed and so visited several beaches as part of a snorkelling trip. The beaches were ok, the water lovely and clear and not too crowded
