Trip Planner: Asia / Indonesia / Sumatra / North Sumatra / Kabanjahe / Nature / Sipiso Piso Waterfall
Look down at Sipiso Piso Waterfall, the tallest waterfall in Indonesia, pouring from a hole in the cliff face and plunging 120 m (360 ft) to the ground below. Observe this natural wonder from a viewpoint above the cascade, then descend the winding staircase to the base of fall, where thundering water crashes down, spraying you with a fine mist. The name of the waterfall comes from the local word for knife, referring to its slender blade-like shape. But we are glad that simply though from afar saw this miracle of nature. There you can go to another observation deck overlooking the Lake Toba.
