Many collections of artifacts. If you are into this kind of things, you'll love the place. Need some improvement in provinces area, could be more alive. Like in Central Java area, it would be nicer if the tv showing wayang show could be bigger. So people could sit and watch it comfortably since the screen is big.
More famously known as "Museum Gajah" - indicated by the small elephant statue located in its front lawn, the museum offers an insight to the history of Indonesia and it's many cultural heritage. The museum and all of its exhibits have gone through many improvements over the years, and with the expansion in the new building, the museum is better than ever. Exhibits on the older part of the museum somewhat lacks information that could enlighten visitors of its significance, however and thankfully, most of the other exhibits are much more informative and enticing. It is a great place to discover the greatness of Indonesia in its history and diversity. With the surrounding open grounds, it is also a great place to relax and wind down from the hectic streets of Jakarta.
An impressive array of artefacts but the chain feels considerable of the older fashioned "let's dump things in lots of cabinets without much context" - particularly in the original buildings. There's is more effort at interpretation and contact in the new wing. Visors to the country pay 10,000 INR which is still less than $1!
Luxurious building for museum standard. However it confuses me as I find nothing about national heroes. This is actually more about archeology museum, but not that worth-to-visit archeology museum
National Museum also known as Museum Gajah is located near Monas and easily reached by any transportation. The museum itself consists of 4 floors and each floor has its own exhibits from textiles, ceramics, inscription and cultural heritage.
