3.3
#17 of 86 in Shopping in Jakarta
Test out your haggling skills and find a bargain buy at ITC Mangga Dua, located outside of the city center and known for selling clothing and souvenirs at negotiable prices. The mall has a reputation for being crowded but vibrant. Don't accept the first price you're offered--savvy bargainers often pay up to 50 percent less than the asking price. • Good and nice shopping place to visit. Many of various clothes store to choose. The price here is really good, so mostly people will buy in bulk. There is also some F&B store to have a full meal or just take a quick bite or drinks. Will be so crowded when long weekend or long holiday.
  • A shopper's paradise. A must visit place if you're in Jakarta. If you don't like shopping, you can eat in the local canteen that serve Indonesian traditional snacks at level 5. Always crowded at weekdays, especially weekend.
  • Hugely popular shopping center with 7 floors of seriously crowded many many shops. Go only if you have lots of time on hand as you will end up hunting for best bargains. But remember that this shopping center closes down by 6pm.
  • It's a pretty packed place for shopping knock off goods; clothes, accessories, shoes, toys, bags, furnitures, game consoles, foods, etc, you name it, it's got it! Just don't bring too much luggages on you, ie bagpacks etc. Cuz the hallways are tight and squeezy. If you're non local, I suggest you go with a local (trusted) guide Incase you need to bargain\haggle.
  • This place is famous with their batik trading. It’s so beautiful with the price is affordable 👍🏻 rugi kalau tak borong baju batik kat sini.

Where to stay in Jakarta

A wealth of choices exists in Jakarta, a sightseeing destination in its own right and a gateway to the rest of the country. For luxury options, try the Lingkar Kuningan area, where new developments provide rooms with excellent views of the city. Head north to find more affordable hotels, offering comfortable rooms in local, non-chain establishments. Up in the Kemang district you'll find an abundance of backpacker and budget accommodations, such as hostels and rental apartments, in areas known for their small cafes, trendy bars, and nightlife.
