  • Worth a visit if only for the devotees bathing in the water pools, under the spouts. There are also some nice ponds, and I recommend visiting nearby Gunung Kawi as a package.  more »
  • This temple is kind of a must-see but the sheer number of tourists at this place has made it very far from what you would expect to see. When we were there we only saw caucasian tourists trying to be ...  more »

  • Very nice area, walk around in the rural area before you enter the temple! It's way more authentic than closer to Ubud. Also, the temple and it's ceremonies are beautiful! Yet many tourists seem just to do the ceremony for fun, and only a few people come along and do the proper ceremony. Overall though lovely, and a really beautiful water source that inspired the ritual!
  • The energy in the pool is no joke, I felt it so strongly. Clean, clean, clean, just clean and pure! Highly recommend coming before 8 am or after 6 pm. Otherwise, the serenity will be disrupted by the crowd. If you can't do that, please make sure at least not to come here after 10 am, loads of group tourists raiding the place!
  • You come here for the experience. If you already have your own sarong, you get to go in the water to participate in their ritual. Visually everything else looks the same as all the other temples.
  • Very nice temple, you can do a blessing here for about 20 thousand (10 thousand lockers and 10 foe special sarongs). It is a water blessing and you will get very wet, very nice!
  • A spiritual experience here for me. I thanked my spirit guide for everything in my life and for the opportunity to help others. I felt so connected afterwards.
