Bogor Palace, Bogor
(3.8/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web)
Reserve early to tour Bogor Palace, among the most important buildings in Indonesian history. One of six presidential palaces, the structure boasts a rich history, extensive art collection, and beautifully maintained gardens. To visit the building and grounds you must put in a request letter, as it is open to the public only once annually. If you don't manage to do so in advance, you can still admire the palace from the street or the adjoining botanical garden. Spotted deer roam the landscape freely, and you can observe them and feed them carrots from outside the fences. Plan to see Bogor Palace and other attractions that appeal to you using our Bogor vacation route planner.

  • How is the bustling and dirty Bogor (industrial) city, the Botanical Garden, along with the Presidential Palace ruled by impassively. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, and although you don't get inside, even from a distance, you will feel like you are back in the last century, when he was the head of State, President Soekarno.
