4.3/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web
Steep yourself in Indonesian history at Taman Nusa, a cultural park that showcases the country's diverse culture and history. The variety of exhibits here walk you through the prehistoric era, various kingdoms and the colonial period, present-day Indonesia, and even the future. Don a traditional costume for a photo opportunity, or enjoy the arts, crafts, and even live music in the museum. Explore the cultural village's 60 structures, each from a different island and time period. Some of the houses are authentic--transported and rebuilt onsite--and it's a real architectural treat to compare their various styles and traits. As you walk along the park, you'll pass many cafes and eateries, perfect for a quick break and some refreshment. Plan your visit to Taman Nusa and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Banjarangkan travel itinerary maker.

  • Our driver recommended this park with the note that he was a little more expensive (350,000) us. But you can get an interesting insight into the various Indonesian cultures, explained one at different stations of a guide for this. To for example, native of the different Islands (in our case, Papua) to various things can be questioned at the different stations (historical tribal costume, design, social life etc.) very informative. You should allow at least 2 hours. The Park is recommended if you want to - know something about the history and historic architecture of biggest selling point in my opinion: no animals that tourists amusement must keep here for that. Worth a visit
