#25 of 44 in Nature in Bali
Brave the speedy rapids of Telaga Waja River. Rafting remains the most popular way to experience this long, winding river and all its dramatic natural scenery. Many companies offer tours; look for a good guide that will make the trip enjoyable and easy if you are a beginner. You'll be passing through several waterfalls while speeding down the river, viewing spectacular vistas of cliffs and rice terraces along the way. Most rafting packages include refreshments, and prices can be bargained with if purchased in person. Using our custom trip planner, Besakih attractions like Telaga Waja River can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Path long enough, not dangerous. Guides and helpful. If you have the opportunity, bring waterproof cameras behind. The Bill to pick up the dvd is much higher than the standard of living. For the rest ... adapt to their lives.

  • We booked the day before via our hotel (Mahagiri in Sanur). The person in the Lobby has made to tell us to take a complete outfit that can go in water (shoes included) and a complete spare outfit... it seems obvious but it is better to say there really need at least the driver arrived at about 9: 00 instead of 8 h (pb of traffic and two others to recover before). A good hour's drive and we arrived at note (rendang) starting point. Payment by card (75 euros per person plus 3% of charges for paying by card. It's still a little hot... Descent possible zip trailhead of the boats (for a surcharge), possibility to rent Sandals (for a surcharge). Welcome to Bali where everything is paid except the smile (which is already not bad not compared to many other tourist places...) We meet our guide (Jacky) who anarche with a vest, a helmet, a paddle and we here we left through a small rice field to the North of the river. A bit of waiting for all the boats are swollen and all the. One receives the introductions for actions aboard and go for 14km downhill on this beautiful River in the middle of the jungle. A lot of good mood on the boat (there were three) but also with other groups at the same time that we left. Some photos taken by Alma in places (as in Mickey...). She you proposed tones then a350kR but you can negotiate them at 250KR. A waterfall and coffee stop, a passage of dam of 4 m and this beautiful walk of an hour and a half is already finished. We have not seen the time passing... We go back to the point of arrival (Payungan) or waiting for us after we lunch be changed. Return to the hotel... A very nice day in the global
