  • It's true, it's really difficult, especially during the months of hot Indonesian, but the climb itself, for those who love to learn about different traditions, to be the goal. You see throngs of women with Wonderful fruit basket balanced on her head. Soar gracefully, wearing sarong and colored lace blouses. The atmosphere of faith and peace is felt everywhere and it is the real magic of this place. Then, of course, the scenery is gorgeous. But the magic for me was meeting with balinese devotion.

  • We really liked the first temple complex, consisting of seven. On the other we didn't go. In order to enter in the first temple to look from the inside and if you want to pray and you need to pay donejshn in any size and tie a scarf-sarung, which they give out on rental 10000 rupees. Without knowing it, we passed the post payment left and have parked farther away, asked the local temple where he showed path for local, and we have come freely, without going through the post. When we went to the temple, we were asked to wear a sarung, mal'chonka at the temple accompanied us to the bottom, where we are and explained and asked for donejshn. We again climbed into the temple with honor, then he too asked us money) Funny, when all ask for money;) At the top of the kooky when some other time!

  • We walk up all the way to the top and the view is fantastic! It was well worth the effort of the 1700 steps! I carried our 2 year old and our 5 year old walked by herself. Even if you don't get all th...  more »

  • Amazing view and only a lot of people. Very Good stuff which explain us some Information.
  • The second temple is the most beautiful, the walk to the top and the views are beautiful, you have to wear a sarong (it's 10k to rent it). We went without a guide and saw only one monkey in the last temple. If it's just to see temples the last one isn't worth it.
  • Amazing views. Well worth the trip. Take good walking shoes. It's quite the hike!
  • Beautiful temple. Great views over Bali and to the Gunung Angung.
  • The highest temple is quite a distance and the surrounding view aren't much to see. And the smallest among all. I would say the first temple is the best so far after the carpark. Meaning no need to go so high up. And no need to get the guide as you would expect to be approached. If you are driving then the journey is painful with traffic. My car gps is not fully operational. Not sure what the brand is and not user friendly at all. End up have to purchase data plan from my phone and used goggle map. Cost 200,000 for 1G.best solution.anyway its okay overall.if your have other places to go then keep this optional.
