Pura Lempuyang, Bali

(4.5/5 based on 190 reviews on the web)
A significant temple to the Balinese people and a culturally historical artifact, Pura Lempuyang rewards the hiker not only with an authentic glimpse into the prayer life of the Balinese people, but also picturesque views over the surrounding vista. Suitable for those of moderate to good levels of fitness and walking ability, the site requires visitors to climb 1,700 steps to the summit. Along the way, you will come across ornate Buddhist carvings and architecture. Before you begin, be sure to find a sarong to wear, or ask a guide where to find one, because entry to the temple is not permitted without one. • 從廟門間拍出去的山脈景色很美,非常適合拍到好照片的選擇,爬到最山頂需要四個小時,但其實第一階的廟宇只要5分鐘就可以爬到,景色就很好。  more »
  • Besides the main temple here is still six different churches. Conditional admission is charged, you must wear a sarong. Top open good species.

  • Great place to visit: few tourists, no hassle, very nice views of Mount Agung even just from the first of the 7 temples. The best temple we visited in Bali!  more »

  • Amazing view and only a lot of people. Very Good stuff which explain us some Information.
  • The second temple is the most beautiful, the walk to the top and the views are beautiful, you have to wear a sarong (it's 10k to rent it). We went without a guide and saw only one monkey in the last temple. If it's just to see temples the last one isn't worth it.
  • Amazing views. Well worth the trip. Take good walking shoes. It's quite the hike!
  • Beautiful temple. Great views over Bali and to the Gunung Angung.
  • The highest temple is quite a distance and the surrounding view aren't much to see. And the smallest among all. I would say the first temple is the best so far after the carpark. Meaning no need to go so high up. And no need to get the guide as you would expect to be approached. If you are driving then the journey is painful with traffic. My car gps is not fully operational. Not sure what the brand is and not user friendly at all. End up have to purchase data plan from my phone and used goggle map. Cost 200,000 for 1G.best solution.anyway its okay overall.if your have other places to go then keep this optional.
