  • Activity to do, especially if it is fine! 2 rivers, a fresh and the another hot meet in successive basins, thus creating a huge Super relaxing natural jacuzzi, in nature. Suitable for children. Provide water shoes. Possibility to dine on-site with a charming family who will prepare a dish of the day, simple but delicious (we had a curry chicken with a salad of papaya and banana... flowers a treat!) for an extremely low price. You can even enjoy their housing to change after swimming.

  • Just beside the road, not far from Bena you have 2 rivers comming together as one. One is cold (as usual), the other one is warm (45 degrees) so when mixing it feels a bit special! Stil a hidden secre...  more »

  • Natural and free. It's the junction of a hot stream with a cool stream, so you can get whatever temperature you want. While we were here, it was just us and a local family.
  • This place is starting to get organized, by Flores standards of course. Still it is the best hotspring in the area, with hot and cold water mixing together it counts for a unique experience. Be careful, the hot water in the upper pond is burning hot. Unfortunately, local water-electricity project caused water level to drop and sometimes trash from the kampungs to accumulate, but place is regularly cleaned now. You will meet friendly locals, and that is a plus.
  • Water very hot!!.. unfortunately the cold stream is not very clean. But a nice experience.
  • Lovely hot springs. Friendly locals.
  • Really relaxing place! There's a changing room to change into your swimsuit. You can buy lunch but it's overpriced so just buy something on the road there. Carefully position yourself in the river where the temperature is to your liking. Great visit!

Where to stay in Bajawa

A trip to Bajawa means you will most likely stay overnight; be prepared for slightly overpriced accommodations. While most facilities offer complimentary Wi-Fi, expect to pay more for hot water and air conditioning. Many hotels employ staff that doesn't speak English, so if that makes you uncomfortable, look for guesthouses run by expats.
