Jemeluk Beach, Amed

(4.2/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
Walk into the water at Jemeluk Beach, and within a few steps find yourself surrounded by tropical fish of every color. The immediacy of the teeming coral reefs, combined with the shallow water and weak currents, make the bay ideal for beginner snorkelers and divers. Several diving schools operate on site, so you can easily learn or hone your technique. The stoney black sands with boats pulled up all along their length don't favor sunbathers, but they certainly create a picturesque setting for a seaside stroll. You won't go hungry at the beach, with plenty of good restaurants serving up delicious fresh seafood. Please be careful about standing on coral while swimming, as this kills the coral permanently. Using our online itinerary creator, Amed attractions like Jemeluk Beach can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Nice snorkelling - people selling jewelry and massages on the beach but not pushy at all. Good food and nice view but a bit if garbage in the water - too bad.
  • Then we have much like the less touristy side and saturated to the South side to oes beaches of Seminyac. No white sand but black so don't be disappointed, when there is a lot of wind the beach is loaded with dirt and plastics even if the Balinese cleaning every morning. The Bay is tess closed so very quiet, don't worry about the children. Water is 28 degrees and 100 m from the edge you will be in a giant with not shy fish aquarium at all. If you do not want to pay the entrance and parking for access to the beach, you go down a little lower and access is free otherwise between 2000 idr and 4000 idr per person. The warungs are installed throughout and you can eat there for not expensive autur € 8 per person with ensuiie access to sunbeds and beach course. You can rent equipment for diving or. The snorkling, clubs are not lacking not to forget him go see the submerged temple in addition to the wreck. Then on top of the Hill, you can can go walk it's a 5 minute, a superb point of view on the Bay with a small café / restaurant. You will be s disappointed

  • We enjoyed the snorkeling but the beach is dirty and very busy. You won't have to go far in the water to see some pretty amazing fish
