  • So we originally came to Amed for snorkeling. And then we thought,"why not a diving baptism?" We were already thinking about it a little, but the beautiful setting took us the plunge. Some research, some comparisons. A cool first contact with Hector by WhatsApp. Come on, let's go. Dives of Baptism, Vanessa was great to accompany us, with little care, despite the little disappointments that we could have, for example with the balancing of the ears. (or putting fins in water, haha) So, successful baptism: we are hot to chain on the Open Water. Hector always so quiet and full of humor, which explains to us well how everything will go. Practical exercises with Vanessa, Theoretical Review with Hector. (No, we didn't cheat!) We take our time and spend the open on 4 days - 1 day of bonus dives, because. Well it's nice! and Amed really has a great setting for that. (unlike Gili Meno, bouh) Hector casual and joker on earth, but for all that hyper serious in the water, and so we always felt confident, well framed, so still top. In short, we really enjoyed the "small club" atmosphere where the Baruna team was at our pace, and without feeling rushed or judged. Thank you to Hector and Vanessa for these few days of fun, happiness, and for completely passing on their passion. We returned to France today, with 12 dives (yes, we continued on Nusa Penida :p), and a big desire to continue! So we're not going to stop there. :D Oh yes, and a little dedication to Alain, a fellow seasoned diver met in Baruna, who was overflowing with positives and motivated us to continue thanks to his stories and photos of dives that sent the dream ;) See you baruna. And for others who read this little pavement (sorry!), go with them, do not hesitate ;)

  • After 3 days of snorkelling at Gilis me and my half wanted to see more !!! We started with baptism in Jemeluk Bay. I wanted to go to the Liberty wreck (like everyone else) but the sea conditions were not ideal. I salute the professionalism of the team who know perfectly what is best for its divers. (This was not the case with the centers we met during our subsequent stay in Bali... Where we dived into exceptionally strong currents and visibility of - 2m...) With Baruna you can go with confidence. I was ULTRA stressed but Vanessa and Hector's joie de vivre kept me motivated. Mixed baptism but I did not confess defeated. 4 days later I had my Open Water! The instructors are very patient to listen to us. (And it was necessary because I struggled well in the beginning, I weigh my words lol) The relaxed and warm atmosphere is also a big positive to emphasize. You immediately feel comfortable. They were able to pass on their passion to us and I would never thank them enough for that!!!!!!! Thank you Hector Vanessa thank you to the local staff. Thanks to Alain for an encounter that marked our minds as young divers. To quote him: "Keep your child's soul. Marvel." By choosing Amed and Baruna you will have the winning combo to take a good dose of Fun. Favorite for Liberty spots (to do once The open water in pocket). And Amed Pyramids. And little words to all those who still hesites. "Persevere" a wonderful new world lurks under water. It's accessible to everyone even if you've never dived into the big pool bath or put your head under the water before. I'm living proof of that. 7 days in Amed 8 dives! Our adventure is off to a good start. 12 dives in 15 days in Bali. What about it??? I'm already thinking about sending my sister to do her las low level. And we a diving cruise Thanks thank you again.

  • Pure happiness. When I left for a baptism on the USS Liberty, my wife couldn't go through with it out of panic. Hector, the "prof" offered him a second outing and this time successfully. His great professionalism must be emphasized. Besides his perfect pedagogy, he has a lot of humor. So I recommend without hesitation Hervé and sylvie

  • A superb dive outfit with a personal touch. The dive instructors and masters are great and the equipment is well maintained. The diving was made effortless by their good organization making it a very pleasurable experience.
  • Still the best! Competent, super friendly and very good equipment. I had the best time and feel great to dive with Nady. Everyone who search for a perfect dive - just go to Baruna. Thanks a lot!
  • Dove the U.S. Liberty wreck and the wall with Nadhy. He is an excellent dive guide, I highly recommend him. Transport and equipment is included, as is a cup of tea/coffee between dives. Great experience! You won't be disappointed.
  • Dive gear was in good condition and well maintained. Dive guide was good, knowledgeable about the area, and took the time and care needed to for dive prep. Good experience and no complaints.
  • Hector was a fun and safe instructor! He made getting our dive certification really enjoyable. We felt very safe in his care and the dive sites were top notch. Instruction can be had in both English and French. Equipment was good quality and well maintained. Hector really takes the time to get to know his students and make sure they are having fun and are comfortable with the experience. Would definitely recommend!
