2.1/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
One of the most famous attractions of the area, Lady's Seat serves as a great spot to relax and enjoy a family picnic. The seat itself is a large, circular object made of concrete, offering you respite from the hot sun. Spend some time in the nature, enjoying the view of the landscape around you, then grab some drinks and snacks in the local shops and bars, or go to the souvenir shops and buy a little something to remind you of your visit. Pay attention to your kids and don’t leave them unattended, as monkeys and other wild animals live in the area. A visit to Lady's Seat represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Yercaud family vacation planner to plot your vacation.

  • A good viewing point in Yercaud, but nothing out of the world. At least it was not too overcrowded like some of the tourist spots.
  • Good Spot but poorly maintained by the locals. Best thing to do their is too eat baji and bonda. But good view I should say.
  • There is a good observation point. Be prepared to walk a lot, climb hills, run down the hills, get tired, and thirsty. Have a good driver while traveling to Yercaud, to tame the sharp hair-pin roads.
  • It is very long distance from Salam because of the place is average only...but good for couples which who like more privacy. That what my suggestion...
  • Superb view.. Chill air.. Fresh breeze..
  • Good view, but lots of monkeys
  • Yercaud us not for the young and the restless! It us not for families with young children who have nothing to do there. It is a good place for middle aged couples, groups of seniors who can spend time relaxed . Trekking. Long walks. Boating. Botanical garden . Coffee estate. Good food is available at a few good resorts and restaurants but is expensive. For a group of four a good meal could cost Rs1600 ( no drinks ) . If one has transport life is even easier there.
