Deer Park, Yercaud

Good shady park. Some deers and peacocks aren't seen. Kids will enjoy. A nominal Entrance fees is charged.

Deer park is a beautiful park in Yercaud which is built around the Yercaud lake. It's a very good place for small walks, jogs and picnics. The park is not big or not too small either. As the name suggests the park has lots of animals in their natural habitat. Peacocks, deers, ducks, hamsters provide a typical zoo like experience. The place can be developed a lot especially the fauna part as its not properly maintained. Plants grow haphazardly and are not cut in their proper shapes. The place is very dirty sometimes as it's not cleaned on a daily basis especially after a weekend when there is big tourist flow. However because of the cool climate and the lush green trees and the plantation, one can enjoy the place. It's a decent place to visit especially if your in a group or with family and friends. Really!!!!!!!! this is one of the worst place to visit in Yercaud. They are fooling with the name Deer Park. This is just a KIDs park and they put two Deers in a corner. For a park time can go this place. Waste of time n money. they charged me 50 rps for camera. Everywhere is kids and family playing in swingers. personally - not worth taking ticket and spending 20 minutes roaming inside this "Deer Park"

One of the tourist places in Yercaud town. But not cleanly maintained by municipality. Nothing great to mention about it. A small location that you can visit and leave within 30 minutes

Only good for kids and not worth the hype. Not worth the ticket charged at entrance.
