  • Not too good .but we can see ones .the name is thousand piller temple..but I think there are only few .
  • Lord Shiva is mainly worshiped over here and the main attraction that draws attention of everyone is the temple is constructed in bc 500-600 with over 1000 pillars. That is why temple has got the name...  more »

  • Amazing. 1000 years old temple built by Kakatiya kings. Lord Siva statue is wonderful. There are 100 of turtles living in the well beside the temple. Even though the name is saying 1000 pillars there is no actual 1000 pillar temple. Then I had talk with temple employee and they are saying it consists two places. One is ruined which is behind Nandi and now it's no entry. Telangana govt planning to rebuild the same. This consists 600 pillars include small and medium. Remaing 400 in Siva temple that includes small, tiny medium and big pillars.
  • It is 180kms from Hyderabad, India. If you wish to visit this place then better to plan weekends and you can have a happy trip because you will be tired in single day trip due to heavy traffic jams. After Hyderabad travel will be fast but once you enter into Hyderabad from Uppal, your vehicle will not cross 30-40kms speed and so much traffic jam. So better to plan travel in the morning times, while going and coming back. Visit Thousand pillar temple, bhadrakali temple, kakatiya fort, Ramappa temple etc., and have a happy tour to Warangal.
  • It is pure religious and spiritual place. Do not tamper the harmony by treating this temple only a tourist attraction. We can see the thousand pillars in Natya Mandapam behind Nandi (bull). It is according to the inscription stone.
  • Peaceful place. Oldest temple and development is made in the cleanliness and widening of the temple. Almost half of the temple is now put down to earth and is being restored back. Its happening quite some years but there is no much change to it. A historic place one must visit atleast once
  • I went there with my cousin and we enjoyed a lot! I saw more than 30 turtles in the water and took so many pictures! Still have the beautiful memories with me! 😚
