  • There are 48 tunnel in the train root from Visakhapatnam to Araku Valley, which is perhaps unique in the World. The legend has that valley derived its name from a medicine for stomach. Even today the medicine is still being given here. Many types of tribe lives in this valley.The ITDA is managed with protection and preservation of Tribal culture, promotion and betterment of their life style. Where to stay in Visakhapatnam

A cluster of simple hotels and guesthouses sit in the inland center just south of the airport in Visakhapatnam. To the north of the airport, Highway 39 offers a smattering of accommodations, providing convenient access to some of the region's key natural sites. However, the main bulk of accommodations in Visakhapatnam lie closer to the coast, east of the airport. Here you'll find selections of chain hotels and family-run guesthouses situated by the main inland parks and commercial areas, as well as a number of resorts and hotels down by the beach.
