Witness an example of Indian rock-cut architecture and a memorial to the masonry prowess of the old Indians at Undavalli Caves. See the caves cut out of solid sandstone of the hill in the 4th century C.E, with the most renowned of them being four-storey high with a huge representation of reclining Vishnu, sculpted from a single piece of granite. Learn about the history of many Buddhist artifacts converted into Hindu temples and deities. Marvel at the architectural feat of the Gupta architecture.
