  • One of the most revered Ghats. Named in honor of the very famous medieval (16-17 centuries) Indian poet Tulsidas who wrote a poem based on the Ramayana. Originally named Lolarka Ghat. Basically, the faithful come in the hope of having a son and pray for his health.

  • Located north of Mahal ghata and Reva ghata. Formerly known as Lolarka Ghat, there was simply a pier, renamed in honor of the famous poet Tulsi Das, who lived in the 16 century. He wrote a poem, romantic Ramcharitmanas summary of Ramayana and the ideal state of King Rama. Here people make ablution for the birth of sons and getting rid of leprosy.
