  • Next to Dhameka stupa and the ruins there this is the next best place to visit. It gives the glimpse of Budha's lif in miniature form around the giant 70 ft statue. It is very well maintained.
  • The temple is built and maintained in beautiful Thai style. No need to make a separate trip to visit this place. You could do all the monuments in Sarnath in 2-3 hours.
  • There is a big statue of Buddha which is carved with design of Buddha life in the base of it. The design include the Mahabodhi temple, where buddha got enlightenment and the kushinagar where Buddha birth and also few position of Buddha. In the entrance you see the Ashok Chakra and the lions statue which is now taken as a sign of govt of India.
  • The architectural view from the outside of the temple is a great experience to view once in Varanasi.
