  • The second place on popularity of cremation in India. Harishchandra Ghat has its legend about the fair King who was so honest that God himself Vishna questioned this and all. The King had to cremate people here and take this charge. After the death of his son, he does not allow his wife cremated the son, not yet paid a tax, then himself Vishna took his honesty and resurrected son and returned the wealth. Since then this place has been called. I advise to visit.
