  • Infinite collection of scarfs. There are other silk and cotton material available here as well. Sarees are also reasonably priced. This place is a must visit for shopoholics and for people getting married. They also offer home delivery for bulk purchase, in case you belong to a different city. The owner is very nice and friendly.
  • 1. The shop seems to have got recommendations from Lonely Planet, so quality can be assumed/assured. 2. Over confident shop keeper who would chew paan and wouldn't bother to answer you for the sake of chewing paan. Although at the same time other staffs were courteous. 3. Bills not issued until insisted. Even then a manual bill is issued that has no TIN number. 4. Shop is expensive and located in not so easy to access streets.
  • Very impressed with the quality and varieties of products. The owner is very informative and honest. Good quality with reasonable price.
  • This is a good shop to visit in Varanasi. The place has extensive collection of Pashmina apparels and good collection of Benarasi sarees. The designs are contemporary. This is a no bargain place and they prove to you the quality of all the products they sell.
  • Very good collection of original silk n pashmina.A complete shopping destination. The salespersons are extremely cordial.

Where to stay in Varanasi

The old city of Varanasi has a long history of pilgrimage and tourism, and its range of accommodations has developed to a high degree to meet the vast demand from across India and further afield. Perhaps the most interesting and atmospheric place to stay can be found in the area surrounding the ghats on the west bank of the river. You can find an eclectic mix of simple hotels and guesthouses all the way from this point up to the main train station. North of the station sit the most luxurious of the city's accommodations, with views of the tributary that runs through the north, and a range of additional facilities.
