  • Now very little water in the dam. But I think in rainy season it might be full. It's within the forest area 
  • This dam is as lengthy as 13-14km approx and the ground is clearly visible as there were no water.. few landscapes were breathtaking and the photos that i captured definitely made my friends jealous.....  more »
  • The dam was good and scenic. There was a small showering so we enjoyed the climate and the view. Good for photography.

  • Nice dam with good greenery.... I visited this place on my way from Athirappilli falls to Valparai. The dam was didn't open for vistors..
  • Beautiful place to visit. Need special permission to enter the dam. The reservoir & the surrounding hills look amazing from the dam top. Better to visit in the morning or evening time.
  • The Napa valley of india ..on the way to athirappaly falls..not much of water..Dam was closed due to maintenance in nirar dam
  • Located in valparai athirapaly route.not much water now. Not allowed inside Dan also. You can play in park with kids. Might look good if there is water. Road is fantastic
