  • This is one of the most beautiful places I've seen on earth. It's like you're in a botanical garden but all the flowers are wild. They smile at you as you pass through the paths. I definitely recommend going in August when the flowers are in full bloom but be ready for rain! Also for the best experience go very early (6-7am) so that you have the valley to yourself.
  • On a beautiful backdrop of full of snow Himalayan Mountains in the Uttarakhand region you will find Valley of Flowers. Its a very remotedly location. This place is a famous for its charming meadows of alpine, vibrant & rare flowers. It is picturesque in its beauty. For going to Valley of Flowers, you will have to reach Haridwar or Rishikesh by Air/Train/Road and then by road upto Govindghat near Badrinath. Due to mountain and ghat roads you will have to start early in the morning so that you will reach Govindghat in the evening. Next day start early trekking to Ghangria Village of around 16 kms. You will have to climb it from 5000 ft to almost 10000 ft. If wheather permits one can skip this trek and take a helicopter service and you will reach to Ghangria in just 5 minutes otherwise it will take 8 to hours by trek. Ghangria is the base camp for Valley of flowers and Hemkund Sahib which is at the altitude of around 15000 ft. Depending upon your stamina you can trek upto 4 to 8 kms inside the valley. Ponies are not allowed inside the valley. While trekking to Valley you will witness one of the most alluring places of the world. Its impeccably beautiful and pleasing environment will surely entice you. You will find jungle of rare trees like Bhojpatra enroute. Its really a dreamland and you will never forget its beauty lifetime. There are n number of different flowers, some are very very tiny. Best time to visit the valley is in July, August and September and after that it will be fully covered in snow.
  • Valley of flowers, which is located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, was accidentally discovered by a group of mountaineers, who lost their way while returning after summitiing a peam. This place is blessed with the nature beauty. Hundred of species of flowers can be found here. Also, tis place contains a lots of beautiful birds in addition to lots of animal species. The best season to visit is July to September as most of the flowers blooms in this period but thus is also monsoon period in Uttarakhand so before planning visit to this place collect the details of the present situation. Famoi shrine Hemkund is also close. The night halt can be done at Ghanghariya which is common for both, Valley of flowers as well as Hemkund Saheb.
  • Natures heaven on earth... Lots of flower found during season May to September... July and August is best time. Bust you can choose by your test of scene. There are different scene intervaly 15 to 20 days.
  • As evident by its name, the Valley of Flowers is known for its vast diversity of alpine flowering shrubs located in the western Himalayas. The place is a part of the larger Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve in Nainital, Uttarakhand. The valley is covered with snow from October till March, but as the summer arrives, the valley is turned into a palette of colorful flowers that covers the entire landscape.
